Michael Jackson: Thriller or Killer ?

There wasn’t even a formal ceremony, no flowers, no epitaph, no nothing except the terrible sense of loss and the feeling of hopelessness. A death had occurred and there would be no arrests made, no trial or jury. And even though there were many witnesses to this crime. Michael Jackson was holding the smoking gun, yet there would be no justice.

I remember seeing Michael Jackson on television for the first time when I was just a kid growing up in the Midwest. Like most of America I was beyond impressed. And like most African Americans I was proud. It wasn’t everyday that I could turn on the TV and see someone who looked like me. There were a very few others, but none had the charisma that Michael had. I loved his big round afro hairstyle and his stylish outfits. He was my new hero and I wanted to be just like him. I was just like most teens that idolized their superstar celebrity heroes; I tried to dress, dance and look like him.

The Titanic, Obama & The Dolphins…

 This is based on a true story…  partially.  This is a story about one of history’s greatest disasters. 

On April 10, 1912 the RMS Titanic set sail. The greatest ship ever built at the time and widely believed to be unsinkable. On her very first voyage the ship sank. More than 1, 500 people lost their lives in this disaster. Ok so we have all heard the story at least a million times and even seen the movie, but there is one little known fact about the Titanic that most people have never heard.  Today I’m going to reveal the ‘lost story’ of the Titanic.

Real & Chance are not gay ?

In this age of the ‘downlow’ man also known as the ‘in the closet homosexual’ we have a television show that features a couple of ‘questionable‘ guys that raises the question: Can a supposedly straight man be any ‘gay-er’ than “Real or Chance“?
I am not homophobic in the least bit, I believe that who or what you have sex with is your problem (as long as nobody gets hurt, more power to you).
But this TV show sends my ‘Absurdity Meter’ off the charts because these two ‘guys’ are supposedly looking for love and have twenty or more beautiful women crying, begging and fighting for their attentions.  When it should be obvious to anybody with half a brain that they’d almost certainly rather have any one of these ladies brothers in real life.

I recently asked a group of people how they felt about ‘REAL & CHANCE’ and almost unanimously everyone agreed that these two were indeed the most feminine so-called lover boys on TV.
I would like to take my hat off to the network bigwigs who developed this show and had the smarts to bring it back for a second season. For as ludicrous as the concept may sound on paper – the show works.  Maybe it’s the humor or maybe it’s the beautiful women, i’m not sure but whatever it is, everybody has heard of REAL & CHANCE and most people I know have seen the show. I know that personally I can’t stop watching it. I think that it’s because it makes me feel better about my life;  “thank God i’m not a homosexual in denial” and “boy am I grateful that I don’t have a shameless embarrassment of an airhead as the woman in my life.”
Thanks REAL & CHANCE for reminding regular folks like me just how lucky we are!
